“Feel yourself being quietly drawn by the deeper pull of what you truly love.” ~Rumi

Welcome friends to Inspiráh’s blog! This is my first blog post. Ever.

We all have something or many things that call us. Ideas, feelings, and possibilities to be greater, deeper, and more expansive human beings. Calls that tug at our soul and remind us that we have work to accomplish, rocks to uncover, and awakenings to be experienced.

Creative expression, the quest for inspiration, and a commitment to spiritual/personal growth are strong themes in my life. They’ve been primary motivators most of my life. Inspiráh is a synthesis of these themes and represents the realization of a longstanding dream… to make inspiring art and designs that uplift women in their daily lives.  It’s a gorgeous and challenging journey that has awakened my life’s voice. I’m listening. Responding. Moving forward. I would love to share this journey with you, and learn about your life’s voice and what inspires you.

Over time, you will find various offerings at Inspiráh, from fashion accessories, cards, journals, and home/office decor to quotes, articles, and videos that stir new reflections and perspectives. My hope is to expand your creative aperture by sharing some of my fave artists, courageous women, admirable businesses, riches from nature, and other topics I find moving. I sincerely hope your days will be enriched as a result of sharing what inspires us most in life.

I believe business and heart belong together.  This is a core value for Inspiráh. Giving to social causes is one way to bring business and heart together. To start, we’ve chosen to partner with Art with Heart, a Seattle-based non-profit whose mission is to help kids overcome trauma through creative expression.  I wholeheartedly believe in the healing power of creativity, and Art with Heart is doing wonderful work helping children heal. Inspiráh donates a portion of every product that you purchase to Art with Heart. I’d love it if you not only felt inspired by the products you purchase, but also invigorated by the positive difference you are making in kids’ lives. Don’t you just love social goodness?

As you go through your day I invite you to consider what is calling you.  Are you listening to your life’s voice? What supports you as you  respond to your calling?  I would love to hear your reflections and insights below.
